Radio-Canada reported on the City’s master plan for a seven-kilometre stretch of the Ottawa River waterfront. Christine welcomed the project’s potential to bring new energy to Rockland and support tourism, while raising a concern residents share — traffic — and asking whether reliable transit links to Ottawa and Hawkesbury will be part of the plan.
Journal Vision covered Christine’s decision to run for City Council in Ward 1. A Rockland resident since 2019, she spoke about her priorities — improving transportation, protecting the environment and supporting our community — and her work as Vice-Chair of the City’s Accessibility Advisory Committee.
107.7 BIG FM reported on Christine’s announcement that she is running for the Ward 1 seat in the Clarence-Rockland municipal election. The story outlines her focus on better connections to Ottawa, protecting the environment and supporting residents of all ages, alongside her volunteer and public-service background.
Le Droit spoke with Christine and other Ward 1 candidates about the growing network of women running for municipal council across Prescott-Russell and Eastern Ontario this fall, and why more women are stepping up to run. As Christine put it: “J’ai arrêté d’avoir peur.”
